Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms apply to Amortline (the “software”), provided by Atesen Software, the trading name of Samet Ateşen, a sole proprietor based in Adapazarı, Sakarya, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). Contact: sametatesen2@gmail.com.

1. Who sells the Practice plan

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

2. What the software does

Amortline is a calculation and document tool. It reads the schedule lines you give it (prepayments, accruals and deferred revenue) in your browser, spreads each line over its months using the method you choose, and produces a Xero manual journal import file, a posting record and a working paper. It does not give accounting, tax or audit advice, it does not post anything to Xero or any other system, and it does not connect to any bank or accounting system.

2a. Your responsibility for the figures

You choose the lines, periods, methods, accounts and tax rates. Check the journals against your records before you import or post them, and check the working paper’s closing balances against your balance sheet. Keep the posting record (or the client file) safe: it is what stops a month from being posted twice, and it is kept only in your browser and in the files you download.

3. Free use and the Practice plan

The free version keeps one client and makes the journal, posting record and working paper for 3 lines per client (the first lines in the file; once posted, the same lines in every run). The Practice plan is a subscription (£12 per month or £120 per year, plus any tax Paddle adds) that removes those limits for one practice or business. A practice is one business and its staff and contractors working on its own or its clients’ accounts. Do not share the license key outside your practice.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by emailing us. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not charge again after you cancel.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. It does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Your data

Schedule files, posting records and client files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Use the software only for data you are authorised to process. Do not attempt to bypass the license check or resell the software.

8. Warranty and liability

We work to make calculations accurate, but spreadsheet layouts and Xero settings vary and the software is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Trademarks

Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Amortline is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Xero.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes to paid plans apply from your next renewal, and we will tell subscribers by email beforehand.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
